Guest Speaker:  Sr. Teresa Grace Baillargeon, C.R. 

Sister Teresa Grace grew up in Newmarket, NH, in a devoutly Catholic family. She first felt drawn to religious life at the age of 12. But God had other plans. Sister Teresa Grace spent her time enjoying family, playing softball, and working.  She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1987, and worked as a Chief Accountant for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manchester, NH.  She later moved to Albany, NY, in January 1990 to pursue a career as a Computer Specialist with the VA.  During her time in Albany, Sister Teresa Grace sensed a longing for something more.  She came to realize that God was once again calling her to the religious life.

While participating in the Albany Diocesan “Called by Name” program in August 1990, Sister Teresa Grace met the Sisters of the Resurrection. She entered the Congregation in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY, in 1992; professed her first vows of chastity, poverty and obedience in 1995; and made her perpetual profession in 2000.  In 2002, Sister received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. Sister Teresa Grace currently lives in Hartsdale, NY, where she ministers at Saints John and Paul School in Larchmont, NY. She also serves as Vocation Directress, which allows her to accompany, support, encourage and provide resources to women exploring the religious life.
